Fresh off another SEC series win Texas A&M will host Sam Houston at Blue Bell Park for a break in league play. A weather delay turned a three-day series against the No. 13 Kentucky Wildcats into a two-day affair with Saturday being a doubleheader. The Aggies were able to win both games of the doubleheader to solidify the series win, but dropped game three in a non-competitive fashion to leave a little bit of a sour taste after the successful weekend overall.
Texas A&M holds a 90-42 series lead over Sam Houston with two ties. Over the last ten games, they are even at 5-5 with the Bearkats winning the last game 6-8 in Huntsville. The Aggies do not have a pitcher and as much as they would like to get this win Coach Shloss might use this game to get a lot of his pitches some work against a good Sam Houston team.
