Texas A&M only has about a month left in the regular season and every game counts. Unfortunately, they lost their midweek matchup to Sam Houston and will need to push that to the back of their brain as they get ready to take on the No. 7 Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville.
The overall record between these two teams is razor-thin with the Aggies holding a slight 49 – 46 advantage with one tie and since joining the SEC in 2013, Arkansas has bested Texas A&M in 17 of the 28 games they have played. With the pitching struggles the Aggies have been enduring all season they need to get out to a strong start so Coach Shlossnagle can preserve some of the reserves for game three if needed.
