This series will be a good chance for the Aggies to boost their resume that’s stacked with a lot of inconsistency. They broke their five-game losing streak with a win over Tarleton but it took all nine innings to secure that victory. Texas A&M (26-19, 9-12 SEC) will host the No. 4 Florida Gators (36-10, 14-7 SEC) in a three-game series this weekend.
While Texas A&M holds the overall series lead at 13-11 Florida has the upper hand winning four of the five last matchups. After getting swept in their last SEC series against No. 7 Arkansas and losing their last four SEC games the Aggie must find a way to win at least one of the games in this series. If they get swept again, they will have to win their last two series to make their case to make the NCAA tournament.
