Texas A&M will get a second crack at Tennessee this year in a first-round matchup of the SEC tournament. The Aggies were swept in Knoxville a few months ago, but they did have a competitive final two games of the series. The two will face each other in a single elimination game, with the winner moving on to play the number two seed Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday in a double elimination round.
Texas A&M holds a one-game advantage in the overall series at 10-9, but the most recent success has favored the Vols. The Aggies are on a four-game losing streak and have lost 8 of the last ten games.
