Texas A&M holds off Arkansas in a barn burner in the second half of the game. After dropping an extra-inning game for the Razorbacks in the second round, the Aggies earned a rematch after beating LSU in the Quarterfinals.
The Aggies will face Vanderbilt in the SEC championship game on Sunday with a chance to be the first double-digit seed to win the SEC tournament. The Maroon & White holds a 13-9 series advantage since they joined the SEC and have won the last four of five games.
Having already exceeded expectations, the Aggies are giving fans much to look forward to in the NCAA tournament. They are the hottest team in the SEC, beating three top-15 teams in Tennessee, Arkansas, and LSU. A win over Vanderbilt will make it the fourth top-ranked team in six days.
