Things are not looking very good for Florida basketball following its let-down on the road against the Texas A&M Aggies on Tuesday, a loss that likely signaled the beginning of the end for its NCAA Tournament hopes. If the Gators have any chance of getting an invite to the Big Dance, they will need to score an upset victory somewhere along the way to show that they still mean business.
Saturday afternoon in the O’Connell Center is one of those opportunities as the Auburn Tigers stroll into town ranked No. 2 in both major polls as well as the tops dogs of the Southeastern Conference. Sporting a 24-2 record overall and a 12-1 SEC mark, War Eagle has been soaring of late under head coach Bruce Pearl.
Auburn won the first meeting between the two schools this year at home, 85-73, in which Florida put up a good fight but the Tigers were ultimately the superior team.
Here is a look at how to follow Saturday afternoon’s action across various media starting at 2 p.m. EST inside the O’Connell Center.
