The Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team continues its Big 12 Conference schedule on Tuesday by welcoming the Iowa State Cyclones to Austin for a midweek bout.
The Longhorns snapped a brief two-game skid with a win over the TCU Horned Frogs on the road Saturday, boosting their overall record to 15-7 with a very mid 4-5 mark in conference play. They now return home — where Texas is 10-3 this season — to face another top-25 team.
The Cyclones are Nos. 11 and 12 in the Coaches and AP polls, respectively, thanks to a tidy 16-5 tally so far and a 5-3 record in the Big 12 that puts them in the thick of the conference race. ISU had won three straight before falling at the Baylor Bears by two points on Saturday, continuing their struggles away from home.
The Texas Longhorns will host the Iowa State Cyclones on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT.

Texas is outside of the polls but is receiving votes, which means a win over a top team could put them back in business. Iowa State needs every win it can get in an über-competitive Big 12 this year that is still very much up for grabs.
