The Patriot League men’s basketball conference tournament is set to start on Tuesday as the March Madness frenzy continues to grow. If you are looking to get in on the live action over the next week, you have come to the right place.
The Colgate Raiders ran away with the regular-season crown this season, amassing a dominating 16-2 mark in conference play that was six games better than the quartet of teams that tied for second place. The American Eagles, Boston Terriers, Bucknell Bisons and Lafayette Leopards all finished with a 10-8 record against Patriot League peers.
The Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds finished in the cellar with a 5-13 conference tally, while the Army Black Knights and Holy Cross Crusaders both finished at 6-12. Six of the 10 Patriot League schools finished with a .500 record or better.

The Patriot League men’s basketball conference tournament tips off on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. ET, with No. 10 Loyola Maryland traveling to face the No. 7 Navy Midshipmen in Annapolis. Tournament games will be played on the campus sites of the higher seeds.
Tuesday night’s action features a pair of matchups, with No. 8 Army hosting No. 9 Holy Cross following the tournament opener. Then things really start cooking on Friday with a four-game slate that will whittle the field down to just four teams that continue to Sunday’s semifinals.
The championship game will be played on Wednesday, March 13, with a tipoff time of 7:30 p.m. ET.
