The Oklahoma Sooners women’s basketball team is slated to play the Kansas State Wildcats in a rematch of their Big 12 face-off earlier this month on Wednesday. The two teams are vying for the top spot in the conference and the results of this matchup could have significant downstream effects.
The Sooners have a healthy 13-6 overall record with a 7-1 mark in conference play coming into this one. The last time Oklahoma lost was against Kansas State in Manhattan back on Jan. 10 but have won four in a row since.
The Wildcats are one of the top teams in the polls thanks to a brilliant 20-1 tally overall and a perfect 9-0 mark against Big 12 competition. The only time Kansas State has lost this season was against the Iowa Hawkeyes, who beat them on Nov. 26 in the 2023 Gulf Coast Showcase.
The Oklahoma Sooners will host the Kansas State Wildcats on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT.

A win for Oklahoma would tie the Sooners in the loss column with the Wildcats for the top of the conference. Conversely, a victory for Kansas State would create some breathing room between it and the schools in pursuit.
