The sixth-ranked Auburn Tigers are getting set to host the Vanderbilt Commodores on Wednesday as the Southeastern Conference men’s basketball schedule continues to grind on.
The Tigers own a 16-4 record overall and a 5-2 mark in SEC play coming into their 11th home game of the season. Bruce Pearl’s team is currently ranked No. 16 in both the Coaches Poll and AP Poll.
The Commodores, on the other hand, have struggled to a 5-14 mark overall and have yet to earn a victory over a conference peer in six tries. Jerry Stackhouse’s squad is on a six-game skid that might not end soon.
The Auburn Tigers will host the Vanderbilt Commodores on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT.

A win for the Tigers would give the team another conference win, which regardless of the opponent, is important down the stretch. A victory for the Commodores would instill some pride and self-respect into a program that is currently floundering.
