The Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team travels to take on the Baylor Bears on Thursday in a battle between two of the top teams in the country this season.
The Bears are having another fine season, entering the matchup with a 16-3 overall record, with the trio of losses all coming in eight tries against Big 12 competition. Dre’Una Edwards’ 12.6 points per game along with Sarah Andrews’ 12.1 per has led Baylor this season.
The Longhorns have been even better, logging a 19-3 overall mark but also earning three losses in nine conference games so far. Booker Madison is the one to watch for the visitors, averaging a team-high 15.1 points along with 5.1 boards per game.
The Baylor Bears will host the Texas Longhorns on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 8:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. CT.

Both teams have some ground to make up in the Big 12 standings as the Kansas State Wildcats currently have a solid lead over the rest of the pack. The victor will also create some space with the loser in the top end of the conference pack.
