The Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball team hosts the Purdue Boilermakers in Ann Arbor on Sunday for a battle between the best and the worst in the Big Ten this season.
The Wolverines are having a campaign they would like to quickly forget, struggling to an 8-19 mark overall and just 3-13 in conference play. The bottom has completely fallen out from under Juwan Howard’s program and there does not appear to be an end to the suffering in sight, having lost four in a row and nine of their last 10.
The Boilermakers, on the other hand, have some breathing room atop the Big Ten standings and come in ranked third in both the USA TODAY Sports Coaches and Associated Press polls. Purdue holds a top spot in ostensibly every bracket prediction and simply needs to continue building on its 23-3 overall record — which includes a 13-3 mark against the Big Ten.
The Michigan Wolverines will host the Purdue Boilermakers on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. ET.
