The LSU Tigers are one of the most teams in women’s hoops and sit 9th in the AP Poll. While LSU did have some early-season struggles and has accumulated four losses, it has rallied off six straight wins (not taking into consideration the result against Georgia), winning four of those by at least 20 points. The Tigers seem to be rounding into shape at the perfect time.
The Wildcats, prior to their game against Ole Miss, had won 2 of their last 3, beating Florida and Mississippi State. Now, they did lose by 48 to No. 1 South Carolina as well. Kentucky has struggled this season and heavily relies on F Ajae Petty, who is averaging 14.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. If they can make this a game, it’ll be on the back of the star forward.
The LSU Tigers will host the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. ET.

LSU is entering this with a 15-1 home record while Kentucky has won just one game away from home. Given that, the Tigers should be able to run away with this one, and who doesn’t love watching the home team come out on top?
