The Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team, currently among the best in the sport according to the Associated Press Poll, will host the Penn State Nittany Lions on Thursday night — the same evening the men’s teams face off at the opposite campus.
The Hawkeyes are currently riding a commanding 21-2 overall record with a 10-1 mark in Big Ten play — the one loss coming at the Ohio State Buckeyes on Jan. 21. Since then, Iowa has rolled off three straight wins and currently holds the No. 2 spot in the poll behind the South Carolina Gamecocks.
The Nittany Lions are not doing too shabby themselves, bringing a 16-6 overall mark into the game with a respectable 7-4 record in conference play. However, after winning six straight games, Penn State lost their most recent matchup at home against the Michigan Wolverines.
The Iowa Hawkeyes will host the Penn State Nittany Lions on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT.

Iowa continues to roll along thanks in large part to Caitlin Clark’s nation-leading 34.2 points per game fueled by her torrid three-point shooting. However, Penn State has a bit of beef too and is perfectly capable of an upset on any given night.
At the time of publication, the cheapest available tickets for the Iowa Hawkeyes vs the Penn State Nittany Lions are $101.
If you’re looking for a more luxurious experience, the most expensive ticket would only cost you $711.
