How the Boston Celtics stack up vs. the Philadelphia 76ers

Do the Sixers have the advantage with Kristaps Porzingis out?

Looking ahead to tonight’s home game at TD Garden, the Boston Celtics will likely face some tough competition from their Atlantic Division rivals, the Philadelphia 76ers and their star big man Joel Embiid given the Celtics will be down their own frontcourt star in Kristaps Porzingis as he heals up from a calf strain sustained vs. the Orlando Magic.

The Celtics will need to rely on their improved bench performance to match up against the 76ers’ strong starting lineup. Reserve forward Sam Hauser and backup guard Pritchard will be key players to watch as they continue to make valuable contributions off the bench for the Celtics early in the team’s 2023-24 campaign.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast took a look at the looming matchup on their most recent podcast.
