How much progress has the Cardinals offense made in 2019?

After ranking at the bottom of almost every category in 2018, they a middle-of-the-pack team in 2019.

Rushing offense

2018 was disastrous. They were dead last in yards per game at 83.9. They were last in yards per rush at 3.8. Their nine touchdown runs were the second-lowest total in the league.

Things are drastically better in 2019.

Averaging 117.7 rushing yards per game, they are 14th in the league. Their rushing average of 5.0 yards per attempt is tied for the second-best average. They have 10 touchdown runs in 11 games, which surpasses their 2018 total. They are tied for 11th place in the league.
