The Wisconsin Badgers (2-0) host the No. 4-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) on Saturday afternoon in one of the biggest games of their season. Not only that, but it is also one of Wisconsin’s biggest home games in a decade.
Alabama will be the first top-5 team in the country to visit Madison since Ohio State was ranked No. 3 during its visit in 2023. Before that, Wisconsin vs. then-No. 2 Ohio State in 2016 was the last such meeting.

Both teams enter the contest in search of a statement victory. Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell is working to bring Wisconsin back to its consistent nine-win standard. A top-five upset could accelerate that process. New Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer, meanwhile, is trying to somehow fill the shoes of the recently-retired Nick Saban.
Alabama will enter the contest as significant favorites after Wisconsin’s up-and-down early-season performance. But that doesn’t mean the game doesn’t have significant stakes for both teams involved.
For those still looking to make the trip to Camp Randall Stadium to see Saturday’s contest, the ticket prices are only rising as we approach game time:
Date: Saturday, Sept. 14
Kickoff: Noon ET, 11 a.m. CT
Lowest price: $141
Median price: $290 (approximately)
Top price: $4,162
