How Marcus Maye’s DUI could affect his future, Jets

Marcus Maye’s DUI arrest could have a ripple effect on his future with the Jets.

Marcus Maye is facing DUI charges from a February arrest in Florida that could affect his future with the Jets.

The safety has a court hearing scheduled for Oct. 20, and he could face more punishment from the league depending on its investigation.

Maye never appeared to be in the Jets’ long-term future. Joe Douglas low-balled Maye after handing him the franchise tag this offseason and the safety was considered a nice trade chip for the Jets to acquire more draft capital with.

The arrest changes things, though. Here, we’ll take a look at how.
