Projected wins: 8.5 / OVER: -139 / UNDER: +115

Tennessee was one of the league’s hottest teams down the stretch and made a surprisingly deep playoff run, leading to Tannehill’s big contract extension. They play in a competitive AFC South, where all but the Jaguars should be in the mix for the postseason. The question is whether Tannehill can continue to play how he did once thrust into the starting lineup and whether Derrick Henry can maintain his production after more than 300 touches in 2019.

Will they win more than eight games? They have been 9-7 each of the last four years. Nine wins isn’t too much to ask. Take the OVER 8.5 WINS (-139).

New to sports betting? A $10 wager on the Over will profit $7.19 if the Titans win at least nine games.

Exact season wins: Bands

0-4 wins: +2200

5-8 wins: -110

9-12 wins: -110

13-16 wins: +3000

The Titans have been consistently mediocre but competitive. They should be again this year. Go with that consistency. Take 9-12 WINS (-110).

Exact wins: Best bet

They have an above-average quarterback. They have a good defense and a workhorse running back, but they lost several key players. They have a competitive division and have won nine games each of the last four regular seasons. Take the betting favorite of NINE WINS (+285).
