Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2019 season
For the second year in a row, the Steelers failed to make the postseason. They finished 8-8, having to play most the season without QB Ben Roethlisberger, but had one of the league’s toughest divisions.
They were 9-7 against the spread but 5-11 O/U.
Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2020 offseason changes
The Steelers did lose an important player on their defense line, as DT Javon Hargrave signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. They added TE Eric Ebron and FB Derek Watt.
They did not have a first-round selection in the NFL draft. WR Chase Claypool (Notre Dame) was their first selection.

Projected wins: 9 / OVER: -115 / UNDER: -105
Pittsburgh returns a very talented defense, and the return of Roethlisberger should be worth at least two more wins, considering they had Duck Hodges at quarterback for them. While they do have a tough division with the Ravens, go with the OVER 9 WINS (-115).
New to sports betting? A $10 wager on the Over will profit $8.70 if the Steelers win at least 10 games.
Exact season wins: Bands
0-4 wins: +3500
5-8 wins: +135
9-12 wins: -167
13-16 wins: +2000
This also is easy. If they can win eight games with Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges, they can win at least one more. They won’t, though, play at the same level as the Ravens last season. Make easy money and go 9-12 WINS (-167).
Exact wins: Best bet
The betting favorite is nine wins at +275. Ten wins isn’t far off at +300. You get more value at 11 wins at +490. If you have to pick one, go with 10 WINS +300, but if you like to hedge, 11 WINS +490 is the next best thing.
