How it Happened: Oregon Ducks’ comeback falls short vs. Oklahoma in Valero Alamo Bowl

The Ducks tried to make it close late, but in the end, Oklahoma was never threatened in a 47-32 victory in the Alamo Bowl.

It wasn’t the desired outcome for the Oregon Ducks to end the 2021 season, but it’s hard to say it wasn’t an expected outcome.

Going into the Valero Alamo Bowl down over 30 players and dealing with injuries, opt-outs, and transfers, the Ducks were unable to get the job done, losing to the Oklahoma Sooners 47-32.

It was a brutal first half in which the Ducks fell behind 30-3, but Oregon showed some life on offense in the second half with a switch to the deep passing game.
