How fair were the ‘Madden 21’ ratings for rookie SEC QBs?

LSU’s Joe Burrow was on top, to the surprise of no one.

Overall: 62

Speed: 73

Accuracy: 79

Strength: 60

Agility: 75

Awareness: 68

Throw Power: 82

The verdict: Fromm is the seventh-highest rated rookie quarterback, and no passer drafted after him is rated higher than him. The former Georgia Bulldog also surpassed James Morgan, who was drafted before he was.

Fromm’s ratings mostly reflect what he is — an average game-manager lacking an elite trait, who is typically reliable. His accuracy rating stands at 79, behind the likes of Eason, Jordan Love and Cole McDonald.

Each of those players finished out their college careers with a lower completion percentage than Fromm did, so this is a bit curious.
