How fair were the ‘Madden 21’ ratings for rookie SEC QBs?

LSU’s Joe Burrow was on top, to the surprise of no one.

Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama (Miami Dolphins)

Syndication: Montgomery

Overall: 73

Speed: 81

Accuracy: 85

Strength: 63

Agility: 79

Awareness: 76

Throw Power: 88

The verdict: Tagovailoa may actually have an edge on Burrow where athleticism is concerned, but his speed rating of 81 was lower than Burrow’s (83).

His overall grade seems fair, slightly behind the LSU product, and Tagovailoa’s play-action rating of 84 is also something users should be excited about.

His throw power rating of 88 and accuracy rating of 85 reflect reality, and make him even more of an asset in the game.
