How do the Lions rank in ticket price increases over the last 15 years?

The Lions at Ford Field remain one of the least expensive NFL tickets

The Detroit Lions made news earlier this offseason when the team revealed it is not increasing prices on season tickets for the 2022 season. It keeps with a general theme of the Lions being a relatively inexpensive NFL ticket.

Detroit ranks 20th in ticket price inflation over the last 15 years among the 32 NFL teams. Ford Field prices have gone up a total of 61 percent since the 2006 season. The average price of a Lions ticket has risen from $56.90 in 2006 to $91.89 in 2021, with the price not increasing in 2022.

The biggest increase belongs to the Raiders, who moved from Oakland to a gorgeous new stadium in Las Vegas during that time. The smallest increase is the New York Jets, who also changed stadiums. The Lions have played at Ford Field in downtown Detroit since 2002.
