2019 was a difficult year for Miami Dolphins fans. The team was sold on “hope” and the promise of a better future — but a future that would very much come at the expense of a competitive roster in 2019. The Miami Dolphins of last year could barely keep their head above water for the first two months of the season, too. Too many new pieces, too many young players, too much happening too quickly for those being asked to execute.
But by the end of the year, the Dolphins got hot and closed the year with 5 wins in their final 9 games. It was a terrific close to a difficult set of circumstances.
But with the 2020 season now in full swing and the Dolphins having played three contests, how does this year’s unit measure up to last year’s team? How improved are all phases of the squad?
Let’s take a look.
