How did the Rutgers Olympic sports do this past week?

Although February is in the rearview mirror, Rutgers athletics has continued to be a winning machine

Although February is in the rearview mirror, Rutgers athletics has continued to be a winning machine. Baseball and softball are off to impressive starts due to their potent offenses. So far, they have combined to post a 21-9 record before the start of conference play. However, they are not the only teams adding to the win column.

After a three-game skid, Rutgers men’s basketball ended February with an 82-52 win over Michigan. They ended the month strong due to the play of Clifford Omoruyi, who added 19 points to his resume.

As temperatures continue to rise, there is plenty coming up for Rutgers
fans to look forward to. After a brief hiatus, Rutgers wrestling will be back in action on March 9 for the Big Ten championships. The lacrosse season is also officially under way, with the men’s team off to a 4-1 start.
