The All-Star game took place in Indianapolis on Sunday night from Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Philadelphia 76ers had two All-Star representativeszzz: Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. Embiid was a starter and Maxey was a reserve.
While Embiid was unable to play in the game due to injury, Maxey represented the Sixers at a high level. The rising star had 10 points and drilled two triples on four attempts as the East defeated the West, 211-186. He played well on one of the game’s biggest stages.
No audio, but I appreciate the "TRAP HIS ***" from Steph lol.
Always appreciate how good Donovan Mitchell is at navigating tight quarters, though. And this is one *heck* of a feed to a corner-drifting Tyrese Maxey. pic.twitter.com/rN0DRNeiHA

Maxey and the Sixers will play host to the New York Knicks on Thursday to open play after the All-Star break. It will be the beginning of a challenging stretch in which they take on some of the better teams in the East: the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics after the matchup with the Knicks.
