It’s no surprise that Arians got things rolling in the right direction in his first season with the Buccaneers.

The AFC South wasn’t exactly a gauntlet in 2019, but the Buccaneers finished the season tied for second place with a 7-9 record — a far cry from where they were under Dirk Koetter. Jameis Winston is still incredibly mistake-prone, but Arians found ways to win games nonetheless.

This could be the start of a fruitful stay for Arians in Tampa Bay. It remains to be seen if Winston will return, though.
