How Celtics’ Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown destroyed Ime Udoka’s Rockets defense

Udoka had transformed the Rockets defense to a top-ten squad — until it ran into the Jays.

In a display of sheer dominance, the Boston Celtics extended their historic unbeaten home streak to 19-0 with a 145-113 victory over the Ime Udoka-led Houston Rockets at TD Garden this past Saturday night. With it, Boston got the win over their former head coach in their first encounter with him since he was let go by the team for an improper workplace relationship.

All-NBA Boston forward Jaylen Brown led the charge for the Celtics with an impressive 32 points, playing a key role in sparking the ball club’s overwhelming win. Udoka’s return also added the potential of an emotional layer to the matchup, though it did not seem to affect the on-court action very much.

After the game, CLNS Media reporters Bobby Manning and Josue Pavon took a close look at the key moments and performances, offering their insights and analysis from Boston’s win.
