Brad Stevens has spent the summer rebuilding the Boston Celtics after their 2023 Eastern Conference Finals exit at the hands of the Miami Heat. With Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday both joining the franchise, the Celtics are arguably the most talented team in the NBA. Still, Boston will still need things to break in their favor if they want to lift Banner 18. After all, success always has a hint of luck behind it.
In their latest video, YouTube channel “Backyard Buckets” looked at five reasons why the Celtics will win their 18th NBA Championship in the upcoming season. One of the reasons cited in the video is that Jayson Tatum could potentially operate at an MVP level in the upcoming season.
Tatum was mentioned in MVP discussions to begin the 2022-23 season. However, as the basketball season wore on, Tatum struggled with consistency and quickly found himself outside the MVP race.
After being named to his second straight All-NBA team, Tatum could now look to raise his game further and finally challenge for the biggest individual accolade in basketball.
