The Boston Celtics are focusing on finalizing All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown’s potential supermax contract extension as their primary unresolved task remaining in the NBA’s 2023 offseason, and Boston President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens is optimistic about the outcome in a recent interview with the media.
But that is not the only task at hand for the Celtics, who Stevens admitted needed more work. Hinting that a wing and a swingman would likely be the focus moving forward, we now have confirmation that this ball club is indeed not quite finished for their 2023-24 campaign.
What else can we expect from Boston in terms of signings or trades? What sort of players should the team be focused on bringing aborad? And are there any obvious candidates out there for the Celtics to target?
The host of the CLNS Media “Winning Plays” podcast Brian Robb got together with Souichi Terada of MassLive to talk it over on a recent episode.
