How Brooklyn’s Big 3 can make history to end the regular season

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden have a chance to make history over the next two games.

There are only two games remaining for the Brooklyn Nets in the regular season before the start of the playoffs. Although Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving only played seven games together, they are on the verge to do something that no other trio has ever done in the NBA: Average more than 25 PPG in a season individually.

Kevin Durant (27.5 PPG) leads the team in scoring and there is no doubt that he will keep this up in these next two outings. Kyrie Irving (27.2) is right behind him, he’s close to breaking his career best scoring average, which is 27.4 PPG. Last but not least, James Harden (25.1 PPG), looks like he will be the determinant factor on whether or not the Nets’ will make history. If he can score at least 26 points in these last two games, we are looking at our first trio to ever score 25+ PPG in a season.

Quite the accomplishment.
