Most 2020 regular season projections when it comes to win totals aren’t too kind to the Cincinnati Bengals.

But Pro Football Focus ran an interesting exercise recently, simulating the 2020 season 10,000 times using its ELO system and grades to come up with win totals for each team.

After 10,000 simulations the Bengals landed on an average of 6.7 games, worst mark in the AFC North behind Baltimore (10.5), Cleveland (8.0) and Pittsburgh (7.7).

It’s a little weird to see Cleveland land so high up the list given the return of Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh.

Either way, the Bengals flirting with the seven-win mark isn’t worth complaining about given the circumstances. Cincinnati has to break in a rookie quarterback and an entirely revamped defense with several new starters — all during a summer process unlike anything players have faced in the past.

And while the Bengals have some seemingly easy games on the schedule, things get very tough late. Ideally, six or seven wins could end up as a great outcome after a two-win season.

We ranked the hardest and easiest games on the schedule:
