About 100 years ago early movie star and humorist Will Rogers said to laugh at yourself — everyone else is.
The Houston Texans are no exception as they took part in an NFL record 43 trades over the three days of the 2023 NFL draft.
The Texans posted to their official Twitter account a GIF they had been using when the team traded a selection throughout the draft. The posting of it was odd given it was on Sunday afternoon, the day after the draft.
The official account replied to the GIF with a simple comment: “sorry, just a force of habit”
General manager Nick Caserio’s wheeling and dealing allowed the Texans to score a nine-man class for the second straight draft.
