Houston Texans have 10 picks after Day 1 of 2023 NFL draft

Here is a look at the updated draft order for the Houston Texans following Day 1 of the 2023 NFL draft.

The Houston Texans made quite the splash on Day 1 of the 2023 NFL draft.

The Texans used their proprietary No. 2 overall selection to take Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud. Then, the Texans packaged No. 12 overall along with their second-rounder (No. 33 overall) and other picks to take Alabama defensive end Will Anderson with the Arizona Cardinals’ No. 3 pick. As part of the deal, the Texans also got back the Cardinals’ No. 105 overall choice in Round 4.

With general manager Nick Caserio wheeling and dealing on the first night of the draft, here is a look at the Texans’ updated order:

Round 3 — Nos. 65, 73

Round 4 — Nos. 104, 105

Round 5 — No. 161

Round 6 — Nos. 188, 201, 203

Round 7 — Nos. 203, 259
