Hornets, Wizards rescheduled for Feb. 7; Blazers game postponed to second half of schedule

As the NBA looks to reschedule postponed games, the Hornets-Wizards game will be on Feb. 7, forcing the Hornets-Blazer game to be postponed.

The NBA announced on Wednesday the rescheduling of multiple Wizards games, including the Wizards-Hornets game that was postponed. Originally slated to take place on Jan. 20, the rescheduled Hornets-Wizards game will still take place in the first half of the NBA schedule, having been rescheduled for Feb. 7. Tip-off for the game will be at 1 p.m.

The Hornets-Blazers game that was originally slated to take place on Feb. 7 will be postponed until the second half of the season.

Along with rescheduling the game against the Hornets, the league also announced the rescheduling of the Wizards’ game against Portland on Feb. 2. That game was originally scheduled to take place during the second half of the season.

The NBA will announce the full schedule for the second half of the season in the final days of the first half of the season. For now, the Hornets’ lone postponed game was its contest against Washington.
