The Dallas Mavericks avenged a loss earlier in the season to the Hornets with a dominant display on Wednesday, never trailing en route to a 104-93 win.

The Mavericks flew out of the gate with hot shooting as they finished with 15 3-pointers on the night, 10 of those coming in the first half. Charlotte could never keep pace, falling behind by double digits quickly in the first quarter and leading 60-43 at halftime.

The second quarter saw Charlotte briefly cut the lead down to nine points but the Hornets could never get closer as Luka Doncic iced the game away.

Terry Rozier finished with 18 points to lead all Hornets while Gordon Hayward and P.J. Washington each had 16. Hayward left the game in the third quarter with a left hip straight and did not return.
