Hornets vs. Grizzlies preseason preview: How to watch, start time

The Charlotte Hornets take on the Memphis Grizzlies tonight in their preseason home opener.

The Charlotte Hornets came out swinging in Monday night’s preseason opener victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 113-97. They’ll look to build on that momentum on Thursday at home against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Rookie James Bouknight led the way for the Hornets on Monday with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting in his preseason debut. LaMelo Ball added an efficient 16 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in just 21 minutes of action.

For tonight’s contest, the Hornets will be without starters Gordon Hayward and Mason Plumlee, who were placed in the health and safety protocol on Tuesday. Kelly Oubre Jr. will miss tonight’s game after suffering a right lower leg strain in Monday’s game.
