Despite a valiant rally in the second half, the Hornets were undone by Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks on Tuesday, 114-104.
Trailing by 19 points midway through the third quarter, the Hornets fought back to close the lead down to as little as four points late in the fourth. However, Antetokounmpo’s 29 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists was the catalyst for visiting Milwaukee as they held off Charlotte late.
Devonte’ Graham poured in 25 points, 10 of those coming in a row for Charlotte in the third and fourth quarters, while Bridges had 21 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Washington had 18 and Wanamaker 13 in the loss.
