The Hornets shot 47% from the field and 42% from the 3-point line on Sunday as they moved back into the win column with a 109-101 victory over Portland.
Charlotte raced out of the gates with 44 first-quarter points and built a lead as large as 29 points in the third quarter. While Portland did make a Carmelo Anthony-inspired run in the fourth, the lead only briefly dipped below 10 points as the Hornets closed out the win.
Terry Rozier led all scorers with 34 points, P.J. Washington had 23 and Miles Bridges chipped in 19. Jalen McDaniels also added 13.
For Portland, Anthony led the way with 24 points and CJ McCollum had 22.
