Shorthanded and on the second night of a back-to-back, the Hornets ran out of gas against the Cavaliers to end their homestand, falling 103-90.
Charlotte led just once on Wednesday following a 3-pointer from Miles Bridges midway through the third quarter. It was short-lived as Cleveland controlled the game much of the night and pulled away against a depleted Hornets team in the fourth.
Terry Rozier (22) and Miles Bridges (20) combined for nearly half of Charlotte’s points on the night. Devonte’ Graham added 15 and Cody Zeller 10 in the loss. The Hornets shot just 16-of-44 from the 3-point line while Cleveland was 13-of-31.
