Hornets at Lakers: LeBron James gets 37 on the way to 4th straight win

LeBron James had one of his highest-scoring games of the season on Thursday night against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Los Angeles Lakers continue their run of dominant play on Thursday night as they dispatched a pesky Charlotte Hornets team, 116-105. LeBron James finished with 37 points, his third-highest scoring game of the season so far, to lead the Lakers to their fourth straight win.

While the Hornets have been one of the league’s most entertaining teams this season, the Lakers took advantage of Charlotte being loose with the ball on Thursday night. The Lakers forced 19 turnovers, which led to 14 points for the Lakers. The Hornets did a solid job of preventing points on their mistakes but the Lakers did enough of a good job to put them away.

The most important thing for the Lakers after tonight was that they were able to keep their current run of dominance intact. Because of the Lakers taking care of their business, they now find themselves in the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, with only 1 and 1/2 games separating them and the Utah Jazz.
