The Grizzlies set a franchise record for 3-pointers as they blew away the Hornets in the second half for a comfortable 130-114 win.
After trailing by two points at halftime, Charlotte was outscored 31-15 in the third quarter as the Grizzlies quickly pulled away from the Hornets. By night’s end, Memphis finished with 23 3-pointers on 49 attempts, a franchise record.
Charlotte finished with a better shooting percentage both from the field and behind the arc but 19 offensive rebounds from Memphis led to 12 more field goal attempts for the Grizzlies.
Terry Rozier finished with 34 points in the loss for the Hornets while LaMelo Ball had 17. Gordon Hayward and Miles Bridges both had 15.
