Hogs ranked No. 8 in Associated Press poll

Arkansas jumps eight spots after beating Texas A&M in Week 4.

Arkansas has taken the college football world by storm.

The Razorbacks are 4-0 and ranked No. 8 in the country in latest Associated Press poll. It’s the highest the Hogs have been ranked in the media poll since Week 1 of 2012. Arkansas went 4-8 that year.

Arkansas has become such a darling after beating then-No. 15 Texas in Week 2 by practically three touchdowns and then beating then-No. 7 Texas A&M on Saturday, 20-10.

Of the eight teams left on Arkansas’ schedule, five of them are ranked in the AP’s Top 25.

The Hogs travel to No. 2 Georgia in Athens in Week 5, No. 12 Ole Miss in Oxford in Week 6, host No. 22 Auburn in Week 7 and travel to No. 1 Alabama for the penultimate regular-season game against the Crimson Tide on Nov. 20.
