Jeremy Cook must have had a great time at the Hogwild Hangout in Fayetteville over the weekend.
He’s now committed to Arkansas.
Cook, who goes by JuJu, is an athlete out of Hoover High School in Alabama where plays on both sides of the ball. With the Razorbacks, the 6-foot-3, 195-pounder is expected to be a defensive back.
While Cook isn’t rated yet by 247Sports or Rivals, his commitment is a sign that coach Sam Pittman and Arkansas are making inroads in the state of Alabama. Cook is the fourth player in the Class of 2024 who has committed to the Hogs from there.
Even without stars, he still chose Arkansas over Cincinnati and Southern Mississippi. The Razorbacks were the first team to offer him and did so back on May 10.
“I feel like Arkansas has everything I liked,” Cook said. “They are like the standard for me. They set the standard for me. It was just the best fit for me. They love me as a person and a player. They showed me a lot of love.”
