The Arizona Cardinals have been fortunate with injuries thus far in training camp. Up through the first week, there were none. They are now dealing a with a few minor things, but there was good news.
Head coach Jonathan Gannon noted that “a couple of guys got some nicks, bumps and bruises” and that “no one is serious.”
Starting center Hjalte Froholdt, who exited Tuesday’s practice with an apparent knee injury, is day-to-day, as the team “got good news on him, so we’re good to go.”
Gannon didn’t mention any other player in particular, but a few players were not out at practice in the afternoon.
According to AZCardinals.com’s Darren Urban, defensive lineman Justin Jones, receiver Zay Jones and cornerback Kei’Trel Clark were not at practice, while safety Budda Baker was on the sideline but not dressed for practice.
