Mims has 14 schools left to consider and Tennessee is among them. Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina are the other SEC schools still on the radar for the Cochran, Ga. native.
Oregon, North Carolina, Oklahoma, USC, Clemson and Florida State are in the mix as well.
Mims is a freakishly big lineman, with innate athletic ability to go with his 6-foot-7.5, 315-pound frame. Mims is a 5-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 2 offensive tackle in the country.
Mims also rates as the No. 1 overall player in Georgia in the 2021 class, and the No. 8 overall player in the country.
