Travis Wilson of Wissports.net reported yesterday that three-star recruit and Kohl’s Kicking Camp’s No. 3 punter and No. 5 kicker Blake Wilcox is not expected back in Madison for the 2020 season after redshirting his freshman year.
This is interesting: it seems former Kettle Moraine standout punter/kicker Blake Wilcow, one of top ranked specialists in the country in HS, was not extended a roster spot at Wisconsin after his frosh year there. Was rehabbing injury but seemed headed to compete for punter job.

Wilcox, a graduate of Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, Wisconsin, was expected to compete for the punting job this season with 2019’s starter Anthony Lotti through with his four years of college eligibility.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Jeff Potrykus also reported this news and added that “a source familiar with the situation said Sunday any official announcement would have to come from UW. Messages left with UW and with Wilcox were not returned.”
No other news on the situation has surfaced since Potrykus’ article yesterday afternoon.
