To get more minutes of game action, Jonathan Kuminga has spent the last two contests with the Golden State Warriors’ G League affiliate in Santa Cruz on assignment.
In two games with Santa Cruz, the 2021 No. 7 overall draft pick impressed with 27 and 21 points in back-to-back games. While playing in the G League, Kuminga showed off his bounce with a flurry of emphatic dunks.

During four appearances with Golden State’s G League affiliate, Kuminga is averaging 18.8 points on 37.7% shooting from the floor with seven rebounds, 2.3 assists and two steals per contest.
Before the Golden State meets the Orlando Magic on Monday at Chase Center in San Francisco, the Warriors recalled Kuminga and his rookie teammate Moses Moody from Santa Cruz.
