From the first possession of the game on Friday night, the Oklahoma City Blue saw what makes G League Ignite top prospects Jonathan Kuminga and Jalen Green so special.
Kuminga picked off a pass on the Blue’s opening possession and dribbled downcourt. He lofted an alley-oop up to Green, who slammed it home.
Kuminga then scored the next five points of the game.
In the end, Ignite took down the Blue 109-103. Over the final six minutes of the game, Kuminga scored 10 points and had a pair of assists. He finished with 24 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Green posted 21 points and five rebounds.

Moses Brown had another very good game for the Blue. After posting 15 points and 17 rebounds on Thursday, he recorded 20 points and eight boards on Friday.
Aleksej Pokusevski was again a mixed bag, with more negative than positive.
The good: Nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks, two steals.
The bad: 2-for-13 shooting, seven turnovers and five fouls.
Both of his made baskets were 3-pointers, but he went 2-for-8 from behind the arc and still hasn’t attempted a free throw on either the Thunder or Blue this season.
Oklahoma City came close to winning on Friday, but Ignite outscored the Blue 37-25 in the fourth quarter. Chasson Randle led OKC with 22 points.
